Who We Are

Our Story

We began to feel the need to help Cambodia's lost and hopeless people in 2014. We went to visit a family that we sponsored through a well-known large mission organization. We were treated like royalty when we arrived. We were picked up in a nice car and taken to an expensive dinner. But when we visited the family we were sponsoring, we visited a slum. We could see no evidence that our money had helped them at all.

The greatest need is in the slums of Siem Reap. We have a dream of ongoing missionary work in the slums of Cambodia in order to convey the gospel to them and the love and gospel of Jesus Christ which is offered to us as a gift to simply receive without a price.

God has given us a chance to preach the gospel, provide shelter from rain and wind, give them clean water, teach Christian education, and feed their hunger.

Cambodia is made up of 95% Buddhists. We want to help the people in Cambodia personally, to make a difference in they way they are forced to survive.

By employing the men in the village to help build sustainable homes, we are educating and providing employment through which we can share the love and salvation of Jesus. With the money that has been donated thus far, other than transportation, every cent has been used to build homes and help make their lives better. We've made signs to put above the door of the home with the last name of the people who donated for that home.

Although alienated from the government and fully exposed to Covid-19, they do not receive help and live without masks. But so much more urgent than that is they do not have enough food to eat each day. They struggle to find food on a day to day basis...from one meal to the next.

They do not have clean water. They use the lake that is nearby for water to drink, cook, wash their clothes, bathe, and to use the bathroom in. This obviously causes much illness and death. The children suffer more than any because their little malnourished bodies cannot begin to fight off the bacteria they get from this contaminated water.

The death rate makes it even more urgent that we spread the word of Jesus Christ to them so that in death, they will still have hope.

Currently, We have only a few people travelling to Cambodia and employing locals to help build floating houses in the slums of Siem Reap, digging wells for fresh water, and providing Christian education. We hope that more people will be called to go to Cambodia to help. Together with the Joyful Christian School, we are also involved in the repair and extension of local churches. The Joyful School, located in Phnom Penh. Cambodia, is helping expand classrooms, maintain facilities, and teach Tae Kwon Do so that Christian education can continue.

Through Heavenly Heart Mission Center, we are supporting underprivileged locals so they can become independent through learning English, Korean, welding, children’s worship, Bible teaching, and support for the elderly.

As missionaries, we will continue building homes and providing fresh water for the Siem Reap slums, support the Phnom Penh Joyful School, and the Heavenly Heart Mission Center.

Along with my partners in America, David and Celeste Vaughan, we have tried to raise money to build homes and connect with these Cambodians. It is next to impossible to raise money without the help of a non-profit organization. People who donate want to be able to have a tax write-off, they want to be able to go online and see financial reporting and how the money is making a difference.

Large missionary organizations are helping to build schools and hospitals, but residents living in marginalized slums cannot go there because they do not have the means of transportation or the cost of public transportation. It is in these slums that we want to work and care for the underprivileged.

Through the relationships developed in this ministry we will share the gospel through spiritual education and evangelism.

Our Vision

Ultimately it’s our dream for all of the people in the slums of Siem Reap to have wells for clean water and homes that can be kept clean and provide shelter from the elements. But most of all, we want to spread the gospel to underprivileged children through this mission, give children hope through good Christian education, and raise spiritual leaders for their future. We dream of hearing the sound of praising God around the country.
Building homes, providing clean water, and ,through building relationships, instilling the love and hope of Jesus Christ.
